Credentials
Dr. Jenifer Drummond earned her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies in 2007. She completed her residency training at Stamford Hospital, an affiliate of The Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2010, where she served as chief resident from 2009 – 2010. She enjoyed practicing medicine as a hospitalist at Stamford Hospital from 2010 until 2022.
Over the years, the landscape of healthcare has evolved. She is grateful for the opportunity to transition to outpatient primary care and join Darien Signature Health in the summer of 2022. In early 2023 she became a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
In her free time, Dr. Drummond enjoys spending time with her husband and two young girls, hosting weekend dinners for the extended family, reading, and solving the daily NYT Spelling Bee.

The difference between Dr. Drummond and a regular internist is like the difference between night and day. She not only remembers your name, but also your medical history without looking at your chart. You can get her on the phone at all times of the day and welcomes emails and texts. I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment and never been rushed out of the office. She also has a great network of specialists.

Dr. Drummond has been caring for my dad for 3 1/2 years now. He was 94 when we joined her practice. She is his favorite doctor, and one of the most compassionate and caring physicians I have had the pleasure of knowing. Having lived in Darien for 41 years I’ve come across many very good doctors, but given less than a handful of five-star reviews to above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty stand-outs.
While many doctors in non-concierge practices are short on time and perfunctory, Dr. Drummond is able to take the time. She is a rapt listener, non-judgmental and empathetic with her patients. She also has an eagle eye. During a physical she caught several potential problems other doctors had missed.
When I joined Darien Signature Health I expected more time, more care and more follow-up. What I didn’t expect and what has been a pleasant surprise, is her referral “power”. As an internist/hospitalist who took care of acute patients for 10 years at Stamford hospital, she built strong relationships with a wide variety of specialists. Since joining I have been referred to some hard-to-get-into-see top-notch specialists thanks to her. And for that I am grateful. It is for all the reasons above that I give Dr. Jenifer Drummond 5 stars. I would also like to give a 5-star shout out to her kind and professional staff.
